We always tend to stay here before flying out, and we’re always well looked after. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The lounge team is especially welcoming and friendly, with a great selection of nibbles and drinks. Excellent location, great service, and truly outstanding staff, especially in the lounge.
My wife and I are disabled. The staff got us through the chaos of Gatwick with care and kindness. Without their help we would have failed. And the Kung Po prawns were the best I have ever had. Good service.

What a joy to be greeted by the smiling, helpful, Sophia! Nothing was too much trouble. I offered to pay for an upgrade and she negotiated a great deal for us that added a room with a view over the runway, free access to the minibar AND the penthouse VIP lounge with complimentary alcohol and canapés. This was topped off with breakfast before our departure. Alexandra, the hostess in the VIP lounge, was equally delightful and again, nothing was too much trouble for her. We will keep on returning!
After a long flight I was very grateful for the Sofitel, the staff were compassionate and the room was perfect.
The room was clean and comfortable. I love Sofitel wherever. Always polite calm and a place to feel special. Thank you again.

The beds and showers are very good.
We spent one night here before flying to Australia. Lovely room with a very comfortable bed. Bathroom had a great walk in shower and a great overhead shower. Staff were very helpful and looked after us very well. I would highly recommend Sofitel 😁.
